Organic Potatoes

This week we have organic Sebago potatoes, dutch cream potatoes, desiree potatoes and Sebago Chats. These spuds are all unique and have their own special characteristics that make them stand out in different dishes.

Sebago potatoes are a staple in Australia with a light brown skin and fluffy white flesh. They're super versatile - you can mash them, bake them, roast them, fry them - you name it!

Dutch creams, on the other hand are known for their buttery flavour and creamy texture. These darker skinned spuds are perfect for roasting, boiling, or tossing into a salad.

And then we have the Desiree potatoes. They have a red skin and creamy yellow flesh that's super moist and flavourful. They're especially great for potato salads  as they keep their form well and they roast  well with a little sweeter taste than the others.

Chats are great if you like to keep the potatoes whole in a potato salad or baked in the oven. They are even better with the skins on.  Halve them and they make great crispy Hasselback potatoes or crispy roasted potatoes.
