Ingredients
- 3 bunches organic asian greens
- 2 tbsp organic sesame oil
- 2 cloves organic garlic (finely diced)
- 4 tsp organic tamari
- 1 sliced organic red chilli or organic chilli flakes (finely diced)
- Pinch of organic salt flakes
- Organic Lime
Method
- Thoroughly wash asian greens. Slice each bunch in half lengthways through the core, keeping the halves intact.
- Preheat a cast iron pan over high heat. Add 1 tbsp of sesame oil & half of the garlic. Sauté for about a minute until fragrant.
- Cook in batches by placing half of the greens in the pan, flat side down. Cook for 1 minute and then drizzle 2 tsp of tamari over the pan. Continue cooking for another minute or so until the cut side is lightly charred.
- Turn the greens over and cook for a further minute. We prefer ours on the crunchier side, but if you prefer softer veg, the cooking time can be adjusted to your preference. Sprinkle with salt flakes & transfer to a serving plate. Repeat with remaining ingredients until all greens are cooked.
- Garnish with red chilli & a good squeeze of lime - enjoy! organic
