Aussie French Toast 🍞

A quick delicious breakfast to get you in the weekend mood.

Also a perfect way to use up your sourdough bread from the week!

Another stroke of genius from @paradise_pantry

- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup your preferred milk (we love our LOCAL DAIRY)
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 Organic Lemon, zested
- Pinch of salt
- 6 slices Organic Sourdough Bread (Bread Social is our go to!)
- Knob of Organic Butter, for frying

- 1 Organic Banana, sliced
- Drizzle of Organic Maple syrup
- Sprinkle of Davidson Plum Powder or Davidson Plum Jam!

1. In a bowl whisk together the eggs, salt, milk, vanilla and zest.
2. Soak the sourdough slices in the egg mix for a few minutes on each side
3. Heat the butter in a pan, fry up the bread until golden and flip to the other side.
4. Serve hot with the toppings, enjoy!
