This week we have delicious certified organic pears from the Stanthorpe.
Pears pair well with cheese, nuts, herbs and meat. We've used them as a topping on pizza with Gorgonzola cheese, baby spinach and Bresaola. These pears can be smoked over a charcoal grill for added flavour.
Pears also make excellent preserves, chutneys, and can be dried or used in baking. They also go well with cinnamon, honey and spices.
