Ingredients ( all available on our Store)
- 2 medium ripe bananas
- 3 eggs
- 3 tbsp honey
- 2 ¼ cups almond flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 3 medium pears
- Maple Butter (optional)
- pinch of salt
Directions
- Preheat oven to 170°C
- Line a small loaf tin with baking paper
- In a bowl combine the almond flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt.
- In a separate mixing bowl mash the bananas until soft.
- Add the eggs, honey and beat with a mixer until fluffy, about 4-5 minutes.
- Reduce speed to low and add the almond flour mixture.
- Mix until well combined.
- Pour the batter into your loaf tin
- Arrange the pears in the tin, pressing into the batter.
- Bake for around an hour or until a skewer poked into the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and place the pear bread on a cooling rack and allow it to cool - don't slice until cool
- Serve with delicious Maple Butter
