Ingredients
- 100g blueberries
- 1 tsp pure maple syrup
- Dash of vanilla extract
- 3g of pure ceremonial grade matcha powder
- 30mL of hot water
- 130g of ice
- 110mL of milk of choice
Method
- Place blueberries, maple & vanilla into a saucepan on low heat. Simmer for approximately 5-10 minutes until the blueberries begin to soften and can be mashed with a fork. Use a stick mixer or blender and blend the syrup until smooth. Place in the fridge to cool.
- Weigh matcha into a bowl with hot water (preferably 80 degrees) & whisk until smooth.
- Spoon 25g (approximately 2 tbsp) of blueberry syrup into the base of a 350mL glass. Fill with ice, top with milk & matcha. Enjoy with a straw for that perfect sip!
