Hummus Heavan

Hummus Heavan
  • 400g tin chickpeas, drained and rinsed tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 2 garlic clove, minced
  • 1 lemon OR 2 Limes
  • 2 tbsp tahini
  • 4 tbsp water
  • OPTIONAL VARIATIONS  add 200 grams cooked beetroot for a beetroot variety or 1 teaspoon of Smokey Cue for a smoked style hummus


Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor then blend until you have a smooth consistency. Add more water if it’s to thick or dry. Taste and season as required. Drizzle with Olive Oil and top with garnishes such as fresh herbs, whole roasted chickpeas and your favourite spices.
