A mild, slightly sweet flavor and a crisp texture, similar to a cucumber or zucchini.
Chokos are one of the most versatile veggies around! They are delicious steamed with other veggies and served with butter, salt and pepper. They take up the flavour of anything they're cooked with, so perfect in curries, soups and relishes.
They can be used in desserts as well. Peel and slice, add sugar, cinnamon sticks and cloves and stew as you would apples.
